Background of this painting creation (绘画背景):
Lately, during cold frosty weather, the painter, Law Yuen was surprised to see a plum blooming beautifully and had a pleasant smell all over in his backyard, while other plants and flowers withered. Plum blossoms are a metaphor for a person’s self-strength and bravery. For this inspiration, the painter decided to create an artwork that combined Chinese calligraphy, poem, and painting (called “trinity art”).
The painter’s poem: 寒霜梅花艳又香, 啟示强坚又勇功。 (The plum blossoms in the frost are bright and fragrant, and it represents the quality of self-strength and bravery.)
近来，天寒地冻，画家罗源惊讶地发现自家后院一棵梅花开得漂亮，香气四溢，而其它花草树木却都枯萎了。 梅花比喻一个人自我坚强和勇气的品质。 受此启发，画家决定创作一幅将中国书法、诗、和画结合一起的艺术作品（称为“三位一体艺术”）。
